Message from the SRWSC Coordinator

Welcome to the Staff Recruitment & Well-Being Sub-Committee (SRWSC) of Itahari Namuna College. As the Coordinator, I am honored to lead this dedicated team committed to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our staff recruitment processes and promoting the well-being of our employees. Our goal is to support the professional growth and satisfaction of our staff, ensuring a dynamic and supportive work environment.

We believe that an effective staff recruitment and well-being strategy is crucial for fostering a thriving educational community. Our vision is to create a robust system that supports not only the recruitment of talented individuals but also their continuous development and well-being within the college.

Objectives, Formation, Meeting & Duration

Objectives:

  1. To promote and facilitate the recruitment of highly qualified and diverse staff.
  2. To support the professional development and well-being of all employees.
  3. To foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  4. To ensure compliance with national and international employment standards and best practices.
  5. To enhance transparency and accountability in the recruitment process.
  6. To develop and implement strategies for staff retention and satisfaction.
  7. To regularly assess and improve the well-being programs offered to staff.

Formation of SRWSC:
1.1. The following members, appointed by the College Management Committee, constitute the SRWSC team:

  • Coordinator: Appointed by the CMC
  • Members: Representatives from HR, Finance, IT, Faculty, and Student Body

Terms of Team:
2.1. Members serve terms of up to four years, including the Coordinator.
2.2. External members may serve additional terms with CMC approval.

Quorum:
3.1. The quorum for meetings shall be above 51% of the total Committee members.

Meeting Schedule:
4.1. The Committee should convene at least once a month.
4.2. Meeting schedules and agendas are determined by the member-secretary in coordination with the Coordinator.

Reporting:
5.1. The Committee reports to the College Chief through correspondence or in-person meetings.
5.2. An annual progress report is submitted to the IQAC for review.

Duties and Responsibilities
6.1. Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and well-being framework for the College.
6.2. Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of recruitment data.
6.3. Facilitate training programs to enhance recruitment and well-being practices among staff.
6.4. Establish collaborations with external organizations for recruitment and professional development.
6.5. Ensure ethical standards in all recruitment and well-being activities conducted under the College.
6.6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and well-being practices and provide regular updates to the College Management Committee.
6.7. Promote the dissemination of information on recruitment and well-being through reports, publications, and other platforms.
6.8. Recognize and reward outstanding contributions to recruitment and staff well-being.
6.9. Foster a supportive work environment that promotes staff satisfaction and retention.
